Supporting & befriending

A big break

£800.00

Some holiday time away from their grown-up worries is crucial for young carers. An opportunity they describe as 'doing something normal'. This gift will give six young carers 'a big break' from their worries and responsibilities.
A time to be carefree

£20.00

A normal childhood for some children may be sacrificed as they have to take on a caring role within the home looking after a sick or disabled parent. This gift provides games and music for young carers to simply have fun.
Lasting friendships

£45.00

Our volunteer befrienders make a big commitment to each child. Before they can take on this responsibility however, they have to undergo almost five months of extensive training and assessment. This in itself is a test of their dedication.
The best of friends

£12.00

A twelve year old sees the sea for the first time. He's amazed and excited.
Volunteer befrienders provide support and positive experiences for children and young people who are going through a difficult time. This gift buys resources for an outing with a befriender.
