Family Group Conferences are a way of bringing together families where there are concerns about a child. It is an opportunity to listen to the young person, who may find it hard to be heard.

This is an important part of our work and the outcome is often rewarding. The family find their own solutions to difficulties and the children can be kept safely within the care of their families.

The young person makes lunch, the family sits down and talks, without conflict or interruptions, and the focus is on the young person's needs.
